High Quality Cell
High Quality Cell
First step in the entire process is to have high quality cells also known as PV cells
(Photovoltaic cells) what these cells do is, they take light photons from the sun and convert them into direct current electricity. It is important to keep them in best position so that they can get the maximum sunlight.
Stringing
Stringing
The process of connecting multiple PV cells together is called stringing. Cells are stringed together using automated stringing equipments (Stringer with two robots and inspection units) employing pre-programmable software.
Automatic Layup
Automatic Layup
At this stage the layup inspects the strings coming from tabber and stringer using artificial vision and accurately positions them over the glass +EVA
Visual Inspection
Visual Inspection
Visual inspection is done to eliminate any environment and electrical or mechanical risk modules may have. It is also done to evaluate design and production quality.
Lamination
Lamination
After a pre-lamination testing, the PV laminator bonds the multiple layers of material with thermoplastic films and a vacuum process ensures the complete encapsulation of the photovoltaic materials. The interconnected solar PV cells are laminated with clear polymer-like material in highly automated Laminators.
Testing
Testing
Testing is one of the most important stages of the process. Using various testing methods safety and quality standards are checked and panels go for commercial use only after getting approval of these tests.
